Debate/Public Speaking

Our Public Speaking Program for Pre-Grade6 students is designed to lay a solid foundation for confident communication, creative expression, and early critical thinking skills. Through a variety of engaging activities such as storytelling, speech exercises, and interactive presentations, young learners are encouraged to develop the essential skills needed to organize their thoughts, articulate ideas clearly, and speak with confidence in front of an audience. In addition to enhancing their speaking abilities, this program also prepares students for future Debate and Model United Nations (MUN) experiences.
By introducing the fundamentals of argumentation, audience awareness, and effective expression, students gain crucial that will serve them throughout their academic journeys. They will have the opportunity to presenting ideas, listening actively to others, and thoughtfully, all of which contribute to building a communication foundation. This early exposure not only fosters a love for public speaking but also supports students' academic and social success, empowering them to navigate various environments with ease. As they progress through the program, students will find themselves more equipped to express their thoughts and engage with their peers, setting the stage for lifelong communication skills.
